Exhibition Practicum
I had an amazing experience in my Exhibition Practicum course, where we worked together to curate a student exhibition. It was an honor to have the support of The Turchin Center, who loaned us their artwork, and McKinney Alumni Center, who let us host the exhibition at their location.
As part of my role, I designed an interactive booklet that guests could engage with during their visit. Additionally, I created an infographic for the interpretive student writing on our Linktr.ee page, which helped to organize the writing in a way that flowed with the exhibition. I am proud to have contributed to such a successful and engaging event, and I invite you to check out the Linktr.ee page to view the exhibition statement and interpretive writing.
Interactive Element
I was primarily part of the reception group for the exhibition, where we came up with prompts for an interactive booklet that I designed and put together. The booklet allows guests to engage with the exhibition in a unique way.
Linktr.ee
I created a Linktr.ee page for the student-curated art exhibition I was part of, making it easy to access the exhibition statement and interpretive student writing. Check out the page to get a better understanding of the exhibition and the ideas behind it.
Interpretive Student Writing
As part of the student-curated exhibition, I took charge of designing an infographic to accompany the interpretive student writing featured on our Linktr.ee page. To ensure a cohesive visitor experience, I organized the writing in a way that followed the flow of the exhibition.
